PlugPlayManager weird error

After installing the latestst MS patches (April/04) 837001, 837009 (OE-5.5/SP2), 838741 and 835732 on a W2K Professional/SP4. This error message keeps popping-up in my "Application Log". It repeats over 20 times after any boot/reboot and my hard disk secondary controller changed to PI mode and my laptop screwed up completely, logon screen comes up after 10 minutes.... with the events 256 logged several times... and every application access takes atleast 5 minutes to come up.... one of the site says it was introduced by the patch.

I found a resolution from Microsoft at

It suggested to change PI Mode to faster access DMA mode. I did it and it seems to be working absolutely fine until now.

This page tells you to ignore it, but you cannot though.

Maybe it is also due to this buggy patch
Microsoft Patches Buggy Windows SSL Patch MS04-011 patch,

"[It] causes Microsoft Windows 2000 to try repeatedly to load drivers that do not load successfully," the software giant said Wednesday, identifying the drivers as Ipsecw2k.sys, Imcide.sys and Dlttape.sys.

In those cases, the patch causes computers to stop responding at startup or locks users out of the Windows log on feature. The bugs also cause CPU usage for the System process ti approach 100 percent

I know it is pretty controversial topic. But I found it interesting when I was watching a documentary the other day in PBS, american television. In that, one person tracked his origins starting from africa, and followed a group of people who migrated few centuries ago. I'm just going to blog about what I have learnt from the documentary. Why War

This is a collection of war torn areas in the world. Why inventing more programming languages?

This article is to explain why we need a new programming language? You have noticed there are thousands of programming languages being invented every year. I donno when it is going to end. Is there any relation with the languages that speak? Maybe...Maybe not.

Have you ever realized how many languages are spoken in the world? Why it is invented? Why there is a grammar for each language? I believe, first and foremost reason is for effective communication, another reason is local communication meaning you don't want others listening what you are talking to your neighbour, especially in a war situation, where you don't want enemies to listen to your secret conversation.
